I had my 38 week check up today and am dilated 2cm, 75% effaced, baby is in -2 station. I'm a STM. Last week I was 1cm and 30% effaced. Last week's appointment I was diagnosed with mild pre-eclampsia and told to stop exercising and lifting weights. That helped a lot with my blood pressure and I was told today I can start walking again.

Doctor said it could be tonight, could still be 2-3 weeks away, no way of knowing. I think I’ve had a few isolated contractions, but they were pretty mild. Have been losing mucus plug gradually for two weeks. In the absence of scientific information about this, I thought I’d at least ask you all for instincts and anecdotes. 🙂.
