The T1X's always suffer from an ejection issue eventually due to the design and that little spring getting loose. The CZ 457 MTR is around $750 if you want to guarantee yourself a match barrel, otherwise the standard 457's are lottery barrels but they're never worse than a RPRR. The 457 is a very accurate rifle and might just be the very best 22.rimfire rifle currently on the market for that price . The Bergara B14R is much better than the BMR but also costs much more and is not allowed in ARA factory matches or NRL22 Std rifle class. It must shoot in unlimited class and that puts it into tough competition with VuDoo, Anschutz and custom rigs.

I was looking at the new Bergara BXR and CZ 457 models. I have a Bergara HMR Pro and it shoots lights out so thats why I am intrigued by the Bergara.Decision: CZ457MTR or Bagara B14R. After Shooting NRA Bullseye for a bunch of years and then Airgun Field Target and Bench rest, a buddy introduced me to .22LR Rifle shooting and yup, got out of hand. Did some research and bought a CZ457MTR and did a bunch of shooting after fooling around with a Ruger 10-22.

Last year I competed against several CZ457 Varmint models in the AT-1 and Chassis stocks and they were some of the toughest competitors I faced. I have seen several of them win sanctioned matches across the country. I have never seen an MTR win, ever. Mine is the 24" bbl but they come in 16.5" and 20.5" also.

The B14R has the same cartridge loading as the Vado, in that the cartridge pops up as the bolt goes forward and engages the two extractors and goes straight into the barrel. The Vudoo V22 has a controlled round feeding system.
