Don't sweat it, I'm fairly new too, started in March and thought the same thing (wanting high dividends), but yeah a stock/ETF's growth over time is almost always way more money in the long-run than its dividend. QQQ has a low one because the companies it has in its asset location collectively pay low dividends - ones like Microsoft and Apple ...Qqqm vs qqq will save you .05 in fees. They’re the same but qqq has more liquidity so it’s the preferred choice for trading and options. I’d do Qqqm, VOO then Schd. This is a dividend sub where people tend to dividend yield chase when they should chase dividend growth.Also SCHD is 3.5 dividend but it also follows the market MUCH better than other dividend etfs. if SPY is up 10% this year SCHD will be close to that and giving dividends. QQQ gives tech exposure. VXUS is international exposure for safety but you could just do more VTI etc. Some people are bearish on US stocks eventually.Add an “X” to QQQ—and Get a 7% Dividend. QQQ is a solid bet right now. And to be honest, this is the fund that most people will gravitate to. But if you’re like me, you want more of your return in dividends, so I’d be more inclined to look at something like the Nuveen NASDAQ 100 Dynamic Overwrite Fund (QQQX).
