CV carbs are realy fuel efficent and less sensitive to altitude and temp changes. If it were me, for a CRF230F, I'd source a good used 36mm Mikuni BCS CV carb. The DRZ guys are taking them off thier 400's when nearly new and selling them for $50 to $75 bucks.
