The throttle lever has little movement before the linkage goes full open to full closed. The throttle cable bends around on what I would say is too tight of an angle.Jun 14, 2010 ... Take the looped wire and hook it to the rear part of the spring (hook area). Have the mechanic's wire threaded through the area between teh frame and the transmission. I took the switch out and put a test light on it and wasn't getting power to the solenoid when key was turned. Cleaned the contacts on the switch and on the harness plug abs still nothing then one time it started right up.

It was only used 1982 and after by CCC on the yellow/white 782's, and only found on the ID plate, to indicate the factory installed options the tractor had.

Do you have the CCC 782 wiring diagram too? Judging by the black front axle and large serial number tag in the picture in his other thread, he has a CCC-built unit. I read where you need to remove the differential cover....and that the fluid is so thick it takes hours to refill. I bought the Cub Cadet HiTran fluid from one of the sponsors here. It is like ATF fluid and not thick at all.The more weight the better, to a point. 50lbs on a wheel is a good starting point. All my opinion of course. On my #2 125 I have one 26lb IH wheel weight per side but also have a full size battery and three 3/4" thick slabs of steel mounted out back.
