If you only store lye in barrels and use - item: liquid, mat: lye it will count it correctly. I tried that and it did not work. It always said I had 0. I also tried frozen lye, which reported several thousand. Yeah, frozen lye doesn't work. I've tried it in 0.50 and it worked for me, though.
