Some things to note 1)first swing with the weapon while standing still is kinda slow.A little less crit than misericorde, but more damage, more reach, and you can poke behind a shield. I keep a Misericorde in my back pocket in general for the crit stab so I just use Flame of the Redmanes in whatever my main weapon is (when i use it) I use it on my double halberds.
