The Shield was the CCW of choice for many people for many years. However, the Glock 43, released in March 2015, complicated this slightly. In the press release that accompanied the release of this pistol, Glock made much out of its advanced design, saying that it set a new standard for concealed carry pistols. Some were sceptical.
I have had two accidental mag releases while holstered with my 43x using the Shield Arms mags. The trigger and factory grip texture are also much better on the Shield Plus and it is also flatter shooting than my G43X's. None. The Glock 45 is not a .45acp. The .45acp and 9mm are in no way comparable. As far as I know noone other than Smith and Wesson makes a concealable .45acp as reliable as the Shield. I have a .45, now all I need is a starship. It doesn't even have to be Galaxy class, just something with cloaking ability.
