On September 12, 2013, Gree, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, announced a recall on dehumidifiers manufactured by Gree Electric Appliances of China and were sold from January 2005 through August 2013.The Hisense DH-7019K1G (previously 70-pint dehumidifier) removes up to 50 pints of moisture per day in a 1,000 square feet space.
