To use the XB7 outside of bridge mode I would need to set all of my address assignments by hand through the clunky web GUI. Many of my devices - cameras in particular - need stable IP addresses to function. In bridge mode, the XB7 turns off multi-gigabit operation, which is mildly annoying.
