There is no better underlying than QQQ to combat downside risk in the stock market (I am referring to QYLD holders) because it allows for accurate hedging, and because the daily volatility (decline) of QQQ is greater than QYLD, meaning that holding 10K USD of QYLD does not require short 10K USD QQQ, one-sixth is enough (check my content below)

QYLD has only seen price erosion while I've owned it, and if you're DRIP'ing that means you get more shares overall but as price declines so does your payout. Don't plan on holding QYLD for the long term and I turned DRIP off on it and NUSI (which has been a way bigger disappointment) and am investing those divs into other things.

JEPI might become the next QYLD. At one point, QYLD was recommended a lot on this sub until people saw more of how the fund behaves. During downturns, QYLD falls on pace with the underlying holdings and since 100% of the fund is used for ATM calls, it is difficult to capture any growth during the recovery so QYLD is down overall since inception.
