Probably the most enjoyable turn-base combat I've experienced. I have a lot of experience with D&D 3rd edition, thanks to Neverwinter Nights (or rather, NWN's implementation of D&D 3e), and Solasta is my first exposure to the 5th edition rules. Half-Elves got a huge boost and Humans are now the mediocre pick.

BG3 is a triple A game but it's still early access, meaning it might have more content but you won't see the resolution of basically all you can do. Sneak attack needs to just be a passive that checks if it's conditions are met then applies the damage. Baldurs gate 3 is my most anticipated game right now. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
