you can farm the birds before starting the quest and you don't need the carcass only plumes. U can get all the plumes, and all but one of each flower. Once u get all but 1 they stop spawning. Now that wasn't the case with all of them but most of them. I was able. Hello, I have had the same issue. I've got the solution, so I've picked up the first exotic mission with Arthur back in chapter 4. After that I picked up all plants and Orchids with John (and got 15 Lady Slipper Orchids) for the exotic mission buut I found out it is not counted towards the challenge until you completing the first exotic mission. You can collect all the plumes and gator eggs prior to starting that mission, there’s no spawn restriction there. I have all of those in chapter 2. I am in chapter 4 as well and haven’t actually talked to Algernon Wasp yet to start the mission.I had same problem while collecting those herbs. Earlier in 4th Chapter I was collecting those orchids and you can collect only 4 before Algernon give you 3rd or 4th list with herbs.
