Just a simple novel from a simple perspective about simple hatred and simple faith. Yet despite that, it's beautiful, moving, and a worthy character study of the 'good man' in Atticus Finch.The phrase "showered and blue-blazered" comes from The Extra Man by Jonathan Ames. Wake Up, Sir! Is actually my favorite Jonathan Ames book, though and then The Extra Man second. Heir to the Glimmering World is a book by Cynthia Ozick but I haven't actually read it yet.
