Maybe you shouldn't be using them. The twinswords are definitely harder to use than most. Dark Souls is designed around blocking, and playing a character that doesn't block requires a lot of learned skill in how the enemies work. Find a fun sword, grab a 100% physical shield and you'll enjoy the game more.

It's not as OP as the sellsword twinblades because some enemies you barely do any damage to but on some other enemies you can absolutely destroy them if you're skilled enough. warden is only better (and not really by much) if the boss is weak to Bleed and nothing else. stacking Carthus Rogue with the native bleed in Warden will optimize the bleed status effect. Demon Prince comes to mind. other than that, Sellsword all the way. apply elements whenever you can and you are set to obliterate everything in PvE.
