The only ones that matter if they started with 2 or 3 stars are empowered gems, and you can tell by looking at the stat boosts, assuming you have them at +15 lvl you should have acquired all of the boosts which for a 3 star would be 3, but for a 2 star it would just be 2, which is the problem that they have since you can't add boosts on a gem. 2.

You can either make a Crystal Empowered Gem Box (which are expensive af) or you can use a crystal gem converter. Crystal class gems have a chance to drop from U9 Shadow Colloseums. 2.Or else you would change the name of the gem "fierce"-"arcane" or vice versa.
