The pto switch part number has been subbed several times, so they must have had problems with a few batches. But I don't recall the dash light coming on when it failed.Problem. Cause. Solution. Hitch will not lift. Low hydraulic fluid level, clogged filter, worn hydraulic pump. Check fluid level and filter, replace hydraulic pump. Hitch will not lower. If it's an original sensor you'll need a short 30mm spanner (these sensors are prone to failure) the new sensors are 15mm. It's a bit of a fiddle but can definitely be replaced ...Low compression. The old pump was weak and the strainer was clogged and detoriated. With new pump, i have good pressure. I also replaced the fuel line from the pump to the filter. Bled air from line and filter and tractor started right up.If my 6300 sat more than a day it would get air in the fuel system.
