Pre vet student doctor network.
It becomes exponentially more difficult to find an alternate path if you just have the pre reqs for vet school done and no degree or anything else to show for it. On the other hand, finishing the pre-reqs super fast means spending less on tuition and ultimately could mean graduating with a DVM a little less in the hole of debt.

The years within a program there's some wiggle room, but I wouldn't call you a college freshman if you hadn't yet started college either. But I don't particularly care what your SDN status says.
