May 31, 2022 · TC is mostly the expensive Mopar Unicorn tears oil for your transfer case. I have had Redline survive where Amsoil didn't - in Marine stuff though, not on a Ram. Many use the 75-90 for the front differential, but I use the lighter Redline weight oil. The 75-90 will work fine and might work better if using 4WD a good bit - which I do not. I lost my service manual and searched through this site but am unable to find the CORRECT fluid capacities and type for my truck. Don't overfill it. 248 FBI front 60 dif should be filled to 1/2" below the fill plug. Just fill it to that level, drive it for a while and recheck it, top up as necessay to 1/2" below. I wouldn't overly stress about it, you'll be fine. And the specs I have say 4 liters/8.45 pints/4.23 quarts.First time I was referred to the site, I was happy as a clam that I could get all my fluid capacities from one source for all my vehicles.
