After DR Horton refused to acknowledge our concerns about the situation, we were forced to sell the home to an investor and became upside down on our mortgage. We simply could not afford to remediate the significant damages, on top of having to pay our mortgage and rent on a safe place to live, being our home was uninhabitable.
