The JK is well known for being difficult to get all the air out of the system. Often times taking multiple attempts. To start with I would open the radiator cap and make sure it is full, right up to the top. Then keep the overflow bottle level at least to the min line.

2015 Jeep jku 3.6 keeps overheating. I am at a loss. Okay whats going on is that after running the jeep it will fill up the reservoir with cooliant but the coolant doesn't return the the radiator. It is very random and I cant pinpoint anything that goes along with it except for the speed is usually in that range. The "jolt" feels like a split second loss of power.
