I assume it will not be as effective as the $400 system that connects to the hot water, however, it will be much cheaper and easier to install (and not have to deal with headaches of bleeding coolant). When top hose is "relieved"--that is, when a clamp is loosened or the radiator cap cracked and burped--circulation begins.
