Hi All,I received my Peloton treadmill today and I seem to be having an issue where if I go above 3MPH it tells me that the treadmill is going to turn off because no one is on it. I've called customer service and they have told me that I am below the min. weight requirement and it will not work for me. I am 5'0" and weigh 102lbs.

If you have an Apple Watch, the peloton app still saves all your stats with the treadmill workout - pace, distance, HR, etc. Obviously no leaderboard, but I find the speed/distance to be close enough between my watch and the treadmill that I’m happy using my treadmill that was ~$1500 when purchased.
I have both models (long story). The tread plus is significantly better from a running perspective. The foot feel is superior and feels like running on a real road. The monitor is bigger and is closer to eye level for taller people (I’m 6’1). It’s very heavy /sturdy and very loud as compared to the regular tread.

We have both, it's totally worth staying in the Peloton ecosystem. If there is no financial constraint, go for the Peloton treadmill, they have even started testing auto rate/incline changes. If you can't afford it, go for a cheaper treadmill and use the app. I love the Peloton workouts on my standard treadmill. I am up to 4 a week. I love them! The OG Peloton tread is a monster and it's amazing. Slat-based. Very natural hit on the deck when you run. Not like the abnormally bouncy OF treads. The new smaller Peloton tread has more give, but it's nowhere near the bounce of OT While I like taking OT classes, at home, I prefer a more natural hit on my tread.

If you open your device settings on the tablet there should be an option for In-Home Set-Up or just flat out a button for calibration.
