2016 Ranger 900 XP Ground Issues. New to the forum and this is my first post. Last night I was out checking water tanks and mineral tubs on the Polaris. I shut off the machine to do a few things. When I went to start it up again it would not even turn over. The dash display was blank and there was a clicking under seat coming from the EFI relay.Apr 4, 2019 · We don't run them that hard (we even run in low under 20mph). The turf mode issues -- common problem. The axle issues -- common problem. The throttle body adapter -- common problem if you google it. It has cost a lot of motors. Note it is a maintenance item at 50hrs to check it so make sure you do. The axle change was because of a design change in the turf mode unit. If it is hard shifting with engine off, it's most likely not in the clutch. Disconnect the shift cable at the transmission, this will allow you to work the shifter to see if it's something in the cable as well as work the arm on the transmission by hand to see if it is rough/hard to operate. It's only been driven about 8 hours so far, now when I press the throttle it occasionally doesn't respond. Coughs, sputters, acts like it's out of gas even though the tank is half full.

Guaranteed the garbage plastic sprague that holds the rollers in to engage the 4wd is either broken or cracked. You won’t be able to tell if it’s cracked until you pull the sprague and squeeze it to see they are detached.
