Cons: Very high fees, frequent platform malfunctions, annoying and incessant pop-ups during trading hours. Suretrader is a rip off, and won't work for a beginning trader. Making a single trade is very expensive, and even if you exit the trade at break even, or with a small profit/loss, you'll be in the hole.AFAIK, Pros of TradeZero are: -Less platform+data fee (~$80 ) -Less commissions (the free commission is BS and most of the time you won't get it for free) ~ $0.005 per stock. -24/7 live chat (not sure if it's even helpful tho) -Can use margin for stocks as low as $3.00. This makes new traders less worried about commissions and breaking even and more focused on trading the setup. So you're paying a flat rate of $4.95 and then after its $.01 per share. These commissions may seem like a small amount, but if you're growing a small account and are over trading they really start to destroy your account. There are certain premiums if you trade excess volume such as: $3.95 for 250k+, $2.95 500k+, $1.95 700k+.
