Patrick Rothfuss's Kingkiller Chronicles. Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. Fantasy/Magical Realism Standalones: SukaSuka, Torture Princess, Cote. Personal opinions: really enjoying Tanya, Otherside Picnic, No Game No Life, Mushoku Tensei, reZero. My favorite light novel is Kokoro Connect. The best light novel of all time in my opinion is one of A Sister's All You Need, Spice and Wolf, or Book Girl. Lately I've had a hard time finding a good scary book to read. I read all of Stephen King (Salem's Lot) and Dean Koontz (Phantoms) books. Peter Straub (Ghost), Dan Simmons (Summer of Night) they're okay but not some of my favorite. I decided to give other horror authors a chance and found a few I actually enjoyed. Like my favorite book when I was in high school was the road by cormac McCarthy. Grim tale about the nature of humans after everything collapses. Shows some of the extremes we could go to. It’s still on my list of great books. Now I’ve read more one of my favorite books is a classic by Alexandre Dumas, The count of monte Cristo.
