The 30S has the SF frame. The SF, regular and Gen4 frames are the same width. The grip, front to back, is shorter on the SF and Gen4 models than on the regular G30. Glock should just make the SF models the standard now. There really isn't any point in having the current standard frame anymore.

I had a 30sf, that is a great gun, just to much for me to carry. I now have a 36, that’s the biggest I can carry, though I wish the 30s was as easy but weight is an issue for me. The 30s on paper looks like the ultimate 45acp, but weight matters. As far as recoil, I don’t notice a difference between the 30sf and 36 because the kind of recoil.

I recently bought a HK 45c to replace the Glock for carry, it is slimmer and I hope it conceals better as soon as I get a holster (VM II on order). I shoot the HK slightly better than the Glock, but both are very accurate and very reliable.
