The biggest difference I noticed was that Ameritrade wouldn't let me trade Forex without first completing a class on trading futures. They seem to be pretty strict about how much capital you need to start and how much experience you have on your resume. Wish I knew that up front before I invested time learning their platform.
Oanda's website says no trade info is real-time (see: stocks/etc.) except for data that is free: FX + Crypto, so in theory, I should be able to execute entries/exits on time.
