What I said is I don't like Ninja Trader as much as TradeStation or Tradovate. Rithmic data can be a little less reliable though. I like to see the orders trading stocks, but I stopped looking at them for futures long ago. Eventually should thoroughly explore Bookmap at some point, but haven't had time yet.

CQG, Rithmic and Dxfeed are pretty good bets. IQfeed is very reliable, but on the expensive side. Many futures brokers provide free data anyway (CQG or Rithmic) If you specifically need MBO then your choice is limited to Rithmic. IQfeed announced it as well. Some like Ninjatrader or Tradovate are based off of CQG. I haven’t used IB for futures before, but their reputation for data is pretty bad. They used to aggregate their data (unusable in scalping), and they still have API limits for third party platforms, and their fees and margins are shit.

tradovate is best if you daytrade. Benefit of having FCM doesn't really outweigh the commissions if you trade a lot. It can literally save you thousands of dollars in commission every month. I'd say tradovate for scalping, amp/tradestation for all othersRithmic cuz it doesn't lock me into ninjatrader or tradovate. This is because I use SierraChart and Jigsaw. SierraChart has the most stable data connection and excellent trade copier and most customizable charts. Jigsaw has one of the best DOM. Trading view doesn't have the tools that the other platforms have for trading. Only benefit of tradingview is the load of custom indicators, and coding language they have for it.
