The pickups/bass overall sounds awesome. Apparently they are custom spec'd Seymour Duncans. Sounds like a P bass but bit more focused (exactly like how JMJ described it). The bass came with a good quality padded Fender gig bag and not some cheap thin garbage lol. Totally usable for pro gigging.

Here's a few shots of my Mourdian CS-74. I've been looking for one of these for many years and here it is! It's all original except for the pickups. I d like to share with you the method I believe is the best way to not only practice scales, but to learn the fingerboard of your bass, and really start getting your ears together. This is the method taught to me by my teacher and I want to share it with all of you. This method applies to all electric basses, regardless of the number of strings.This is not that bass. As someone said in another thread, this bass has a "Quality" feel to it. The neck is straight, the ebonol fretboard feels great, and the fretwork is excellent -- no rough edges whatsoever! The weight is 9.75 lbs. and it balances very well. The neck profile is decidedly non-Fender.It gets a decent P bass sound, a decent Jazz bridge soloed sound, and with both pickups on full, gets a nice modern sound that doesn't sound like most P/J basses that I have played.
