Kenyon is better known, generally, back east than Grinnell is - a generalization, but east coast folks will go to Ohio but Iowa is a tougher sell (I am from east coast originally and moved to midwest about 15 years ago). Both student bodies seem pretty similar - a little quirky but lots of regular, smart, interesting kids.
