Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, food delivery services like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Postmates saw significant growth as many dine-in services at restaurants were put on hold and take-out became a premium commodity. I just had an issue with DD and had a conversation with a customer service agent thru the app. Then I got a call from a weird number and googled it. I guess the scammer is still trying it. I just got called by the scammer. Telling me my tablet is malfunctioning and they are sending me a new tablet. Also, if the scammer tells you the customer name, the restaurant, the order details, and/or your name, it is because the customer sees all this info and the person trying to scam you is the customer for that order. If DD ever calls you, feel free to say you will call support back immediately and call them yourself. Possible Walgreens scam glitch/bug. The DoorDash red card wasn’t working for a bunch of us at Walgreens (5 dashers)! It didn’t work as debit either (per DD support instructions). Seems like a possible glitch/bug because of the high number of items. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.

It was a scam. Yes, that is a scam. Report it to DD. With most orders that are only 1 of a stupidly cheap item, you can assume it will be a scam and expect a call from "support" (the scammer). Just report them and have support cancel the order for you, then get the half pay.
