G30 gen 4 size vs G30sf. I am recently new to Glocks (mainly a Walther P99 guy due to grip size) and since recently getting a G26 I have gone Glock crazy I guess....I want a G30sf since I prefer the grip size better but will the new Gen 4 G30 be the exact size/smaller than the SF. I don't want to order one if it is any larger than the SF.The different dimensions of the grips are front-to-back only, the width of the grips are the same. There is no difference in the dimensions of the magazine cavity or mag catch mechanism, the G30 and G30SF use the same mags. The only differrence I can see is that the G30S is a bit lighter, and has a barrel height that is 2/3rd of the G30SF and G36(so, maybe less muzzle flip) and is a bit thinner at the slide. The objective differences are almost vanishngly small (except perhaps the barrel height).
