Oct 19, 2009 · I had it happen to me a number of times until I learned this trick! Now make a 2.5 to 3 foot leader using the 60 lb test with a swivel at one end and a snap swivel at the other. A lot of Carolina off shore boats were built that way. As with all boats, they should be inspected by a Marine Surveyor before you buy. Like.Scale and fillet rock fish. Mix equal parts CHEAP white wine with Italian salad dressing. Place fillets in a shallow Pyrex baking dish. Cover the fish with your wine/dressing mix. Marinate in the reefer for 6 hours. Brandon, I owned a 23 Sea Ox in 1981 , 1982 time frame. Had a 235 Evinrude on it. Fished offshore with it and in the Bay! Owned a 23 Seacraft after that! The Sea Ox is very well built, very solid!
