While it is true that beginners need good rage/fatal sets early on, the event rune is not for you to get a rage/fatal rune. You're supposed to use it to get the best and most versatile rune that will be useable till end game. Once you have tricaru then you can farm better runes for your Lushen in Necro. That is also a good investment in a sense that a fat Lushen will bring you quick arena plays at any rank [emphasis on quick, rather than high rank since higher rank will require speed and Nat 5s like Leo or 33 speed leader]. Yes the guy that made tricaru posted that if you have 12 determination sets equipped you literally only need +12% defence on slot 3 or 5 which is crazy low (this is with max towers, level 5 guild buff, max slot 2, 3, 4 and 6 rune) so essentially if you can SSS light and water rift beast consistently, anyone can run tricaru after you farm for a while there

It's just that after reloaded there is no point in min-maxing tricaru (ie. skill ups, runes). I suppose if you want to be a minimalist, you really just need 1-2 icaru and substitute with raoq or something. TLDR: yes Tool - Summoners War Rune Builder ... Set Effect. For a starter tricaru you would want determination sets (mainly from crafts). You want any (ideally) 6* def% rune for slots 2/4/6 and slot 1 runes can have any subs (since no defense). The hard ones are slots 3 and 5. You can use guard runes or broken sets that roll defense on those slots in the beginning. You need a total % of about 230% of defense after you take out maxed artifacts and your lvl 15 3 slot. Your 2 4 6 slots will only get you to 189%, leaving a fair amount of defense left to get from substats. And with only you 3 and 5 left to get %def on the subs, it can be quite difficult.

It is mathematically much harder to build Tricaru for early players if they try to slam Det runes (especially more than 1 set per dog). Guard runes are by far the easiest method to get the stats. There is an argument for using 1 Det set per dog as slot1 doesn’t have any real reqs, so you only need 1 more per dog. You need a total % of about 230% of defense after you take out maxed artifacts and your lvl 15 3 slot. I only manage to rune about 100 of them, but in the end its fine because i havent use the rest due low rune quality anyway. I'm not sure your rune situation, so i can't make any suggestions. All i can do is to share what i did and ...Considering most people would lose their rune farming teams there really isnt any compensation that would be enough really if they were to nerf ... Maybe to the point of you actually having to build a "real" db12 team to get good guard runes before you can build the tricaru.

Yes, they have enough Stats and Dragons works 100%. I know the Boss can reduce Atk-Bar and change the Turn-Order a bit, but they should normaly start Team Ups again after one Circle.

Punishers Crypt Icaru 100%. I've tried many dozens of combos of all standardly accepted combos of monsters. This has been 100% and very time consistent sub 1min. Guard runes are the way to go. Assuming full 6* guard on all doggies, and 2/4/6 def%, you only need ~26% (~192) 41% def in subs. This is across slots 2/4/5/6 in flat def, and slots 3/5 in def%.It's litterally the only 100% team for dragon and it only need "shit" rune who is not usable elsewhere. However, that can be enough - especially in slot 1, slot one runes can be trash for tricaru - although ideally you want speed/acc, and then later on ATK/CR/etc. And blue 6 star determination DEF% runes are almost always usable in this context if you get them (and I got 1-2 generally).Not much difference, but determination is a pain int he butt to get. tricaru with all determination would be +48% def for each tricaru, but if you have all guard, its +45% def for each. 8% per set x 9 sets is 72%, not 45%. With max D tower / artifacts / the right rolls and substats it's very possible. Not to mention you could just grind out the Accuracy on this rune to add defense if you needed it.
